These are some of the small line drawings that Judy made to accompany the section headings. They were drawn no larger than a postage stamp to keep them simple and clear.

It's about to be published

The digital file is at the printers. I am waiting on two dummies to arrive because I can't decide on the weight of the paper. Is 90 gsm adequate or will the paper be too transparent? The physical book seems rather bulky and 115 gsm will make it bulkier. Perhaps.

Will the book be printed and arrive before Christmas? Will it arrive in time to be bought as a present?

Where will I stack the 500 copies? In my sewing room perhaps. But it is a small room and subject to extremes of heat and cold. Well, not that extreme. Last night, the temperature went down to 10 degrees; inside it was five degrees warmer. At the moment, I have the sliding doors wide open to let the sun into the living room. The sewing room is in a sort of porch area and cannot be insulated.

I will be posting copies to all the copyright holders; there are over a hundred of them. I've got to buy bubble wrap and write labels. This will work out slightly cheaper than postbags from the Post Shop. 'Slightly' is good with so many copies to post.
